1994, Heavenly Twins 27 Mk4 Catamaran, really super boat, much updated including professional Coppercoat in 2019, new fridge 2017, composting toilet 2019, bespoke upholstery with fitted cushions and matresses 2017, new boom cover with lazyjacks and staysail cover in 2019. Her Beta 20hp diesel was new in 2007 and her sails new in 2006/7. A fantastic floating home or go anywhere cruiser.

Beta Marine BD722 20hp inboard diesel engine professionally fitted circa 2007. Centrally mounted with 70 Amp/hr engine driven alternator. Twin independently driven props via Parker hydraulic motor drives (2007), separate Teleflex controls. Cruising speed under engine around 5 knots with a maximum speed of around 7 knots. Engine hours around 600.

Separate heads compartment with composting toilet (2019) as part of a wetroom with shower and hot/cold water supply.

Apex Aquaclean fabric upholstery in cyan, fabric window covers in red, carpet insulation fitted throughout.


4 berths in 2 cabins including a large aft owners cabin with king size berth (converted form two small cabins in 2019.


"Distant Drummer" was purchased by her present owners in May 2015 in Rochfort France from British owners. She was sailed to Falmouth and was based there until April 2018, exploring the West country coast. In 2018 she was sailed to the East Coast, based here at Tollesbury Marina. She is a superb example of the Mk 4 Heavenly Twins, maintained to a high standard with plenty of recent upgrades and improvements such as;
