The Rustler 36, designed by Holman & Pye over 30 years ago has carved itself an enviable reputation as an elegant, long keeled offshore cruising yacht. With examples of the design cruising in all parts of the globe the yachts are now sought after by those aspiring to set off on serious offshore adventures.

Commissioned by her current owners SEA JADE has been a reliable friend over the last 25+ years. Always looking after crew no matter the weather. Reluctantly offered for sale as her owner ‘swallow the anchor’ after a lifetime of sailing she is offered with a comprehensive inventory including:

Hull Construction:

Traditional heavyweight, hand consolidated GRP moulding.

Single piece moulding with full length encapsulated keel.

Lead ballast within keel.

Hull finished in original green gelcoat.

White boot top line

CopperCoat epoxy applied to hull when new.

Hull finished below waterline with conventional anitfouling.

Deck & Superstructure Construction:

Single piece GRP moulding forming decks, coachroof and self-draining cockpit.

Deck moulding finished in white gelcoat.

Laid teak deck to finish side decks and foredeck

Traditional twin V-berth configuration

Infill section to create double berth.

Dresser unit aft of bunk to starboard with storage beneath and above, outboard.

Lockers running the full length of the bunk, overhead port and starboard, 3 compartments in each.

Storage is provided below the bunks.

The large forehatch in the cabin provides light and ventilation.


Constructed in white GRP mouldings.
