INSATIABLE is a spacious 3 cabin, 2 heads version of the popular Beneteau Oceanis 40. Purchased by her owners direct from the factory in France she cruised the coast of Brittany and Normandy before working her way back to Scotland where she has been based since. CONSTRUCTION

Hull Construction:

Single piece hull moulding

Monolithic hull design in polyester laminate

Monolithic structural moulding internally, laminated and bonded to the hull moulding

Plywood bulkheads finished in hardwood veneer

White gelcoat finish to topsides

Underwater hull finished in black antifouling, applied September 2021

Deck & Superstructure Construction:

Single piece deck moulding incorporating coachroof superstructure, self-draining cockpit and walk-thru transom.

Balsa sandwich GRP moulding with stiffening in way of high load fittings

Bonded and screwed hull to deck joint

Deck moulding finished in white gelcoat with moulded non-slip texture panels on side decks and coachroof.

Teak laid decking panels to finish cockpit sole and seating.

Keel & Rudder:

Bolt-on cast iron ballast keel
