Description

Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised Cat B – Offshore.

 

Hull Construction:

  • Blue GRP hull, white superstructure, and varnished oak badging.
  • Stainless steel bow protection plate.
  • Air draft (excl. Mast): 7’4” / 2.24m.
  • Round bilge semi-displacement type hull – ¾ length deep keel, with flared bow.
  • Varnished teak (or rubber) spray rails and all around 3 rubber D fendering compliment the purposeful looks of the craft and provide extra protection when going alongside.
  • Two anodes.
  • The underside of the hull is coated with Coppercoat, with white polyurethane boot top.

 

Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Flexiteek to side decks, cockpit, and interior floors.
  • This is a GRP moulding with substantial gunwales and wide non-slip decks incorporating a bevelled toe rail.
  • The superstructure has a large vertical flange that overlaps with a similar flange on the hull before being through bolted and laminated to the hull.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • 2 x Yanmar 4LV250 (rated for 250hp@3800RPM) 2.75L 4-cylinder common rail diesel engines.
  • Turbocharged and intercooled.
  • Yanmar electronic Vessel Control System, with electronic single lever VC10 gear-throttle control and manual back-up panels for either engine.
  • Final drive via Yanmar/Kanzaki KMH50A angled hydraulic reduction gearboxes.
  • Engine bays are sealed off with bulkheads and are fully lined with sound insulation material including the hull section below the engines.
  • Each engine fully independent with its own stainless steel fuel tank, fuel filter and start battery.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

  • Engine hours: 100 @ August 2024.
  • Engines last serviced: July 2024.
  • Cruising Speed: 20 knots.
  • Top Speed: 30 knots.
  • Range: 262nm.

 

Propulsion & Steering:

  • Vetus electric bow thruster with joystick control.
  • Vetus electric stern thruster with joystick control.
  • Humphree Interceptor trim system.
  • Tilt-adjustable steering wheel and hydraulic adjustable footrest.
  • Hydraulic steering linked to twin cast bronze air foil section rudders.
  • Emergency tiller.
  • Conventional shaft drives to bronze contra-rotating propellers with 3/4 length deep keel.
  • Boat will rotate within its own length in either direction with one engine ahead and the other astern.

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

  • Power circuits are protected by Visi rocker circuit breakers mounted in a specially designed panel mounted on the fore cabin bulkhead.
  • 240 Volt ring main with two power sockets.
  • 3 x 240-volt sockets, one with USB outlets.

 

Battery Banks:

  • Two banks of twin 12 Volt batteries with isolating selector switches.
  • A parallel switch is included to link the batteries together in the event one battery bank is discharged.

 

Battery Chargers:

  • 12V Victron Multi-Plus Compact 2000/80Ah smart battery charger/2000W Inverter.

 

Alternators:

  • 2 x Denso 12V/130Ah alternators.

 

Shore Power:

  • 230V shore power inlet & cable.

 

Other Electrical:

  • Voltmeters.

Plumbing Systems

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

  • Pressurized hot and cold-water system.
  • 22 ltr calorifier water heater.
  • Immersion heater to hot water tank.

Bilge Pumps:

  • 4 x automatic bilge pumps with bilge alarm warning lights.
  • Manual bilge pump at aft cockpit.

Tankage

Fuel:

  • Total fuel capacity of 700 litres in 2 x 350 litre independent tanks.
  • Inspection lids for tank cleaning, and clear bowls to Separ primary bulkhead filters.
  • Emergency fuel link valve to divert both fuel tanks to supply either engine in case one engine should breakdown.

 

Fresh Water:

  • Total water capacity of 155 litres in single aluminium tank.

 

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

  • Holding tank capacity of 110 ltrs, with electric pump out and shore side outlet.

  • Raymarine Axiom 9 Pro-S display with GPS.
  • Raymarine Evolution autopilot.
  • 18-inch Raymarine Quantum radar.
  • 2 x Raymarine i70s colour displays for depth, speed, log & wind.

  • Oak drinks locker is fitted aft of the fridge unit with built in stowage for bottles and glasses.

  • Stainless steel sink with hot/cold mixer taps.
  • Drawers and cupboards fitted out for cutlery.
  • Dometic 42 litre refrigerator housed in unit below the navigators seat.

 

Heads/Showers:

  • Heads with electric Jabsco WC, hand basin and shower.
  • Shower with electric pump out.

 

Heating & Ventilation:

  • Eberspacher D2 diesel-fired hot air cabin heater.
  • Two solar powered vent fans.
  • Opening circular port-lights throughout accommodation.

Accommodation

Summary of Accommodation:

  • Eight opening port lights.
  • Escape/deck hatch.
  • Four opening windows (one per side & 2 @ rear bulkhead).
  • Oak joinery with satin varnish finish.
  • The interior surface finish is in melamine lacquer.
  • Side and overhead linings are in vinyl or carpet as appropriate.
  • Cabin and wheelhouse are fitted with carpet as standard.

 

Description of layout from forwards:

 

Fore Cabin:

  • Forward cabin hatch with blind and fly screen.
  • Access to chain locker.
  • Vee berth with cushions.
  • Bulkhead door and hatch to isolate cabin as required.
  • Ensuite access to heads/shower compartment.
  • Hanging locker with rail and fittings to hold 2 tables and legs.

 

Wheelhouse:

  • The wheelhouse is arranged with the helm to port, the galley is non-gas and is located to starboard – aft of the navigators seat.
  • The navigators position is to starboard with a desk locker for books and instruments.
  • Blue KAB suspension seats to helm and navigator’s positions.
  • A second settee is fitted in the space between the drinks locker and the aft wheelhouse bulkhead.
  • A stowaway dining table with pedestal is provided with table socket located between the two settees (stores conveniently in the forward hanging locker).
  • Port side wheelhouse settee that will convert to a pair of bunk berths.

 

Cockpit:

  • The aft cockpit is self-draining, with smart blue seat cushions and backrests.
  • The forward part contains two hinge back engine boxes with moulded in seats/steps.
  • A full width seat is fitted across the stern with lift access to the steering gear and emergency steering.
  • All seating and cabins soles laid with Flexiteek panels.
  • Hatches are fitted to the cockpit sole for access to the bilge and provide extra stowage space for ropes, fenders, and equipment.
  • A socket is provided in the sole to enable the dining table to be set up in the cockpit for al-fresco dining.

Deck Equipment

General:

  • Flexiteek/stainless bathing platform complete with boarding ladder and dinghy ‘snap davits’ system – with twin “stand-off” bars.
  • Stainless steel pulpit and stainless-steel grab rails.
  • Twin pantograph wipers.
  • Screen washers.
  • 4 x Stainless steel bollards.
  • 2 x Fairleads.
  • Aluminium mast.

 

Anchoring & Mooring Equipment:

  • 4 x 10 metre mooring warps.

  • Cockpit canopy full enclosure in blue canvas, with 5 windows and zip up entrances each side and at the stern.
  • A tonneau type cockpit cover is supplied as standard.
