Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Localised re-painting (2017).
  • Various local deck repairs, re-plugging and repair of the split to covering board (2017).
  • Sandblasted to the bare metal below the waterline, filled, primed, Seajet 118 epoxy, Seajet anti-foul (2017).
  • Repaired leak to forepeak keel cooling (2017).
  • Teak cockpit and side decks (2017).
  • Lifted out of water, antifouled (2022). Further antifouled (September 2023) and props cleaned.
  • All anodes changed (2022).
  • Hull paintwork cleaned and minor repairs made (2022).
  • Repainted grey rub bar (2022).
  • Re-varnish all round (2017). All brightwork sanded to bare wood, repaired where needed and revarnished (2022).

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

  • 2 x MAN Diesel 110hp

 

Maintenance & Performance:

  • Engine Hours – c. August 2024 6,191.
  • Economical cruiser with low fuel consumption.
  • Serviced engines (2024) – all-new impellers, belts, new thermostat, and hoses to the port engine – a new set of spare filter and impellers. Full engine service including all new filters (2022).

 

Propulsion & Steering:

  • Burnished props and fitted new keyways and rudder glands.
  • All skin fittings, stern gear and steering gear serviced (2022).
  • Bow thruster serviced including new seals (2022).
  • Helm chair plus second chair added to wheelhouse for passenger/crew (2022).

Electrical Systems

Voltage Systems:

  • All (European) electrical 240v sockets replaced with new UK pattern or USB sockets – additional points added (2017).

 

Battery Banks:

  • 6 x New gel batteries, plus new battery cables
  • 1 x Generator battery (2019).
  • 6 x 24v batteries (2022).

 

Battery Chargers:

  • Cabling to Victron charger, charging socket.

 

Generator:

  • Generator (Onan 6.5 KVA)
  • Generator serviced, inc. replace the water pump. Generator serviced (2021).

 

Shore Power:

  • 1 x Shore power inlet and fuse (2019).
  • 1 x Shore power lead (2019).

Plumbing Systems

  • 4 x New seacocks (2022).
  • New seawater pumps fitted (2022).

 

Bilge Pumps:

  • 2 x New bilge pumps, anti-syphon vents, Bilgemaster switches and electrical circuits (previously only one bilge pump fitted) (2017).

Tankage

Fuel:

  • Stripped and serviced fuel pumps (2022).
  • Cleaned and flushed fuel tanks (2022).

 

Fresh Water:

  • Water strainers replaced with new bronze and glass strainers (2022).

 

Grey/Blackwater Holding Tanks:

  • New waste and water sender units, indicator dials and wiring.

 

Gas:

  • 2 x Large gas bottles, pipes, holding frames and gas alarm/gas on-off solenoid switched from galley (2017).

Navigation Equipment

  • Compass – Robertson Dataline.
  • Speed log and Depth – Garmin (2022).
  • Wind – Garmin (2022).
  • VHF – Garmin 315i DSC (2022).
  • Garmin AIS Transceiver (2022).
  • Chart plotter – Garmin GPSMAP 1223 XSV (2022).
  • Radar – Garmin GMR18HD (2022).
  • Remote search light (2022).
  • Autopilot – Simrad AP25.
  • Made and fitted new teak console for all instrumentation including Garmin above plus new VDO engine instruments (2022).

Domestic Equipment

  • Washing machine with tumble dryer.

 

Galley:

  • Galley completely replanned and refitted: New teak top, selected cupboards and drawers remade, installation of new extractor fan and lighting, new Espace Ocean Chef XL (£4,000), new double sink and tap, pull out stainless unit under oven, 2 No. large custom-made pull-out storage boxes under the dinette.
  • Dishwasher
  • Fridge fitted to galley – Coolmatic CRX 110 (2021).

 

Heads/Showers:

  • Accommodation comprises two cabins, both with en-suites and a separate shower room in the master cabin.
  • Electric toilet fitted and plumbed.
  • Aft heads refitted: New teak top, basin, tap. New electric toilet, new plumbing to aft holding tank in the bathing platform. New washing machine/condenser dryer, with anti-syphon
  • Heads repainted.
  • Deck shower.

 

Heating & Ventilation:

  • Sump pump and hose to shower
  • 1 x Webasto Pro 90 heater (2019).
  • Central heating pump replaced (2021).
  • Radiator system drained, flushed, and refilled (2021).

 

Entertainment:

  • TV set within cabinet with lifting mechanism
  • TV aerial mounted to arch (2022).
  • TV mounted in master cabin connected to external aerial (2022).

 

Lighting:

  • Side-deck and rear deck courtesy lighting
  • Wheelhouse lighting installed in the canopy frame.
  • Lighting in the cabin over and alongside the berth to aft cabin
  • All navigation lights renewed.
  • Searchlight

Accommodation

Summary of Accommodation:

  • Blue Sanderson fabric upholstery fitted 2017.
  • Selected windows removed and re-bedded (2017).
  • Curtains and seating recovered (2017), venetian blinds to saloon.
  • Carpet (2017).
  • Galley and dining area (2017).
  • Shelf made for drinks cupboard (2017).

Deck Equipment

General:

  • Name boards, mast step and various sundry items (2017).
  • Stainless radar arch made and fitted for radome, anemometer, AIS aerial and VHF aerial. JABSCO Searchlight added (2022).
