Construction

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

  • Carbon fibre construction (combination of carbon/epoxy/Nomex and carbon/epoxy/foam).
  • Extended the carbon fibre bowsprit 2.5-ft to 11.5-ft to enhance VMG off-wind sailing.
  • New bottom hard-epoxy paint job (January 2023).

 

Keel & Rudder:

  • New rudder designed to latest hydrodynamic foil shapes by Ker Yacht Design (2017).
  • Keel fin with kelp cutter and 15% larger cord length to improve upwind sailing.

  • 2025 J3+ (14 to 24 knots) - rated as a Heavy Weather sail, this replaces the old J3+ (still in very good shape) with stronger cloth than a standard J3 sail to raise its upper range.
