NAUTOR SWAN Nautor Swan 60

Highly specified Nauor Swan 60’ from 1997. SOTTO VOCE is a true 'cruiser-racer', with regatta hull & deck layup, custom keel, and other features for improved race performance. However, there is no compromise on comfort, and she has the typical Nautor teak fit out below decks. Fresh topsides paint in 2024, all new B&H in 2021, batteries 2021, watermaker 2021, mainsail 2025 … and other upgrades. Ready to be enjoyed and sail.

Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998. 

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Regatta hull laminate in vinylester and Kevlar reinforcements (5 tonnes lighter than standard Swan 60).
• Hull painted in navy blue with Alex Seal paint – May/June 2024.
• Antifouling – October 2024.
• Regatta deck laminate.
• Composite chain plates.
• SOTTO VOCE was at build optimised for racing (as well as cruising) use. Her deck layout was designed accordingly.
• Teak in cockpit, side decks, coaming and coach roof.
• Hydraulic opening transom swim platform – rams serviced 2024.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Regatta fin bulb keel, lead installed inside of bilge.
• Ballast: 11,200kg.
• JP3 rudder bearing – new December 2024.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• Perkins M135 diesel engine, 135hp.

 

Maintenance & Performance:

• Engine hours – approx. 7,000 (hour metre currently not working) as of July 2025.
• Engine overhaul in 2021, including overhaul of the inter-cooling system.
• Engine last serviced November 2024.
• Fuel consumption approx. 6.5 litres/hour at 7 knots at 1,800 rpm.

Fresh Water & Water Heating System:

• Hot/cold pressure water system, via engine or 220V with:

• 1,038 litres in 4 stainless-steel tanks, located under the saloon (two on each side).
