1972 Grand Banks 42 Classic with twin 120 hp Ford Sabre diesel engines give 9/10 knots maximum speed (8 knots cruising). Beautifully presented teak interior with comfortable accommodation for 4/6 persons in 2 ensuite cabins and pilothouse / deck saloon. No expense was spared by the current owner on an extensive restoration / refit in 1995-1996, which was professionally carried out to an extremely high standard. A true classic amongst classics which has been stored ashore and out of commission for the last 2 seasons awaiting an insurance claim for a new hardwood boarding platform. A great project for a wooden boat enthusiast with time on their hands. New batteries / automatic electric bilge pumps fitted, through hull fittings serviced / replaced, propellers / shafts cleaned, hull antifouled and anodes changed prior to relaunching in December 2025. November 2025 survey available on request. British Part 1 Registered.
