Description

Design and Class

The GP26 is a high-performance racer designed for competitive sailors who want speed, control, and versatility. Proven under IRC and ORC, the class is well suited to inshore racing, coastal series, and longer offshore regattas, while still remaining manageable and rewarding to sail.

Condition and Upgrades

‘Gone To Pot’ stands out as one of the best-presented GP26s currently afloat. She has been meticulously maintained and thoughtfully upgraded, with a fully updated sail wardrobe from 2024, a Platinum deck refinish, and new rigging and running gear. As a result, she presents as a well-sorted and competitive package.

Sails and Compliance

The yacht is fully IRC and ORC compliant and is offered with a comprehensive sail inventory, making her suitable for a wide range of racing formats. Because the key performance items have already been addressed, she is ready to campaign without further investment.

Use and Readiness

Whether your focus is one-design racing, coastal series, or European regattas, this GP26 offers exhilarating performance with proven pedigree. Importantly, she is offered as a complete, race-ready package rather than a development project.

Location and Storage

The yacht is located near Falmouth, currently on her trailer and stored under cover, which has contributed to her excellent overall condition.

Broker's Comments

This is a dialled-in GP26. Everything that affects performance has been refreshed or replaced, and it shows. She feels sharp, quick, and responsive, exactly as these boats should. The 2024 sails, tidy deck setup, and compliance across IRC and ORC make her easy to slot straight into a race programme without compromise. What I like here is that nothing feels half-finished — she’s been prepared by someone who understands racing and wanted the boat ready on the start line, not in the boatyard. If you’re looking for a competitive, exciting racer that’s genuinely ready to go, Gone To Pot is a very strong opportunity.
