Sadler 29, 1988, shallow fin keel with 1.2m draft, Volvo Penta 18hp diesel, thoroughly nice family boat, much enjoyed by her current owner, recent upgrades include new sprayhood, genoa uv strip, window refurb, new forward hatch, new batteries, replacement anchor chain and much more. Her interior is tidy with recent upholstery too!

MECHANICAL

Volvo Penta 2002 18hp inboard diesel engine (1988). Shaft drive to fixed 2 blade propeller. Engine serviced annually by Althorne Marine at Bradwell.

ELECTRICAL

2 x 12v 75 Amp/hr batteries (2025) charged via engine alternator. Rotary battery changeover switch. NASA BM-1 battery monitoring system. Shorepower system with RCD socket outlet. Electrical distribution panel and 12v socket. Additional 12v and USB sockets. PV solar panel trickle charging to both batteries. Full cabin lighting (upgraded to LED where practical) with additional red LED lighting at chart table.

Plastimo Contest bulkhead compass, Icom DSC VHF radio, NASA Clipper echo sounder, NASA Clipper speed/log, NASA Clipper GPS repeater, NASA Clipper depth repeater at chart table, NASA wireless wind, Garmin GPS551 GPS colour chart plotter with AIS feed and second cockpit mounting position, Garmin GPS152 GPS navigation system, Autohelm 2000 tiller pilot, Windex and VHF aerial at masthead, Firdell Blipper mast mounted radar reflector, masthead tricolour (LED), separate anchor light, steaming and deck flood lights, bow and stern navigation lights.

SAFETY

DECK GEAR

Stainless steel pulpit, pushpit and stanchions, stainless steel boarding ladder, blue sprayhood (2025), cockpit cushions and sun awning, tiller cover and named cockpit dodgers, lines led aft via 11 jammers on coachroof. 2 x Lewmar 40ST self-tailing 2-speed sheet winches. 2 x Lewmar 7 halyard winches. Additional Lewmar 16 halyard winch. Fortress FX-16 aluminium anchor with 30m of 8mm chain (2025) and 30m warp, manual anchor windlass, 10kg Plough anchor, mooring warps and fenders.

SAILS

Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Kemp silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2013). Terylene running rigging (most new 2013). Slab reefing mainsail with Stack-Pack cover (new 2012) and lazyjacks. Furlex headsail furling system with removable drum.

DOMESTIC

Sound system with speakers. Her galley has a Voyager stainless steel 2 burner gimballed gas cooker with oven and grill, coolbox, stainless steel sink with water supply (new tank and pump system 2017). Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet and washbasin. Blue velour upholstery (2017) with scatter cushions. Teak and holly sole boards.



ACCOMMODATION:



6 berths in 2 cabins with around 6'0" max headroom. Forward cabin with V berth and infill to create double berth. Saloon consisting of a U-shaped seating area to port which can convert to a double berth, table with drop leaves and bottle storage, settee berth to starboard. Forward facing chart table aft to starboard with large quarter berth behind.

REMARKS



"Zephyr" was purchased by her present owners in 2017, a professional survey was carried out at the time and found her to be in exceptionally good condition. Se has been a much enjoyed family boat, has proved to be very reliable and is only for sale as her owners have just purchaser a larger boat.
