Albin Stratus

Boat Details

Designed by the renowned Swedish designer Peter Nolin the Albin Stratus was conceived as a fast, offshore capable cruiser-racer. This particular example was built by the Hyunai Shipyard in South Korea before being imported into the UK.

Solidly built throughout 'Avocet' features a self tacking jib, fin keel and wheel steering. Sleeping a potential six across two cabins and the saloon her interior is traditionally fitted out in solid wood and features a practical sea-going galley space and a separate heads compartment. The Yanmar 30hp engine is mounted centrally in the saloon (below the saloon table) which helps reduce pitching in a sea way by keeping the weight closer to the boats centre of gravity. 2023 insurance survey available upon request.
