This Maxum 2500 SE performance cruiser combines the superior engineering of the MaxTrac hull with the power of MPI technology as standard. Its 8'6" beam allows it to be trailered, and the advanced chine-beam distribution design provides a surprisingly roomy interior appointed with Maxum's luxury edge. This 2004 Maxum 2500SE has been fitted with a single Mercruiser 5.7L petrol engine 250HP with Bravo III drive. This sports cruiser had a new lower leg in March 2025 and has a number of upgrades since. It is only being sold due to a lack of time to use it due to work commitments.

Accommodation :
This Maxum 2500 SE offers 4 berths in a spacious cabin. With a forward saloon table that converts to make a double berth. Saloon table was new in January 2025. There is a double berth aft of the saloon. The galley is to port and has a single sink with pressurised hot water from a 240V immersion heater, 2-burner hob, 240V microwave, and 12v fridge. Sony CD/Radio/MP3 player (new 2013). New galley mixer tapes and hoses fitted in February 2025
The heads is to starboard has an electric head with a holding tank, sink and shower with hot and cold water. New shower tray pump fitted February 2025.
New interior carpets were fitted in January 2025, along with new upholstery covers for the galley cushions
The cockpit area is very large for a boat of its size and has reversible seating, which means that it is a great social area with a table and the cockpit enclosure. The 2004 Maxum 2500 SE was built as a compact sports cruiser with a strong emphasis on practical family cruising, easy handling, and stylish weekend accommodation. Constructed by Maxum Boats, part of the Brunswick Corporation group, the boat benefits from mass-production quality combined with proven American cruiser design.
The hull is constructed from hand-laid GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), often referred to as fibreglass, using a solid laminate below the waterline for strength and durability. The hull form is a modified V-shape with a 17-degree deadrise at the transom, designed to provide a good balance between soft offshore handling and efficient planing performance. This design helps the boat remain stable at rest while still delivering comfortable cruising speeds and responsive handling underway
This sports cruiser has been well maintained and updated by the current owner, who is only selling due to a lack of time to use it due to work commitments. She was last antifouled in March 2025 when the lower leg and anodes were replaced.

This Maxum 2500 SE is fitted with a Mercruiser 5.7L petrol engine, 250hp with a Bravo III drive. It had a full engine and drive service in March 2025 when a new lower leg was fitted. . 280 Litre petrol fuel tank. Trim tabs. It also had a new tank breather skin fitting replaced in March 2025.
2 x 12V 110AH domestic batteries and 1 x 12V 120AH engine battery charged from the alternator and 240V battery charger. 240v shore power with many sockets throughout.
