Rival 34. A well-found classic cruiser in great condition. Designed by Peter Brett with heavy GRP construction and an encapsulated long keel, this much-loved example has seen over £24,000 spent on her since 2020; new sails, teak deck work, batteries, engine service and sprayhood among the highlights. Construction

RCD Status: Our understanding is that the yacht is exempt from the essential safety requirements of the Recreational Craft Directive as she was built and placed into use within the EU prior to 1998.

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Solid GRP hull laminate.
• GRP sandwich deck construction.
• Teak decks and trim. Teak restored and Semco sealed in 2021.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Long fin keel with encapsulated cast iron ballast.
