Owners comments
Coco was commissioned February 2019 in the South of France and is currently berthed in MDL Saint Carlos Marina, La Rapita, Spain, where she has been kept ever since.
Her UK SSR registration was renewed in May 2024 and her EPIRBs registered on the UK Distress & Security Beacon Register. Coco is a UK flagged yacht with EU VAT paid status.
After her shakedown cruise all standing rigging was checked and re adjusted as was her steering gear. Until 2022 she was stored ashore for six months each year, she is now lifted for one week annually to undergo maintenance, anode changing and antifouling. In 2023, due to signs of flaking antifouling, probably caused by poor hull de-waxing at commissioning, she underwent a complete underwater hull strip back to original gelcoat, de-waxed and two coats of epoxy undercoat were applied followed by one coat of a hard antifouling, then two coats of a self eroding International Micron 350 anti fouling. Since then, she has had two coats of self eroding anti foul applied each year, and the topsides are cleaned, polished and waxed with Zvizzer UV Shield 1000 synthetic wax.
She has been set up for long periods at anchor as can be seen by her original specification and later additions. Coco is being sold and not replaced due to age and other commitments, a stock of spare parts will be left and all contents are negotiable including diving gear..
Coco’s Mediterranean style berth is rented on an annual basis and should be available to any new owner if desired.
