Description

Overview

The Dufour 40 – ’40th Anniversary Edition’  is highly regarded as a flexible, family cruiser / racer.

‘Spook’ is a fine example, featuring the preferred three cabin layout, which offers generous sleeping accommodation, two head/shower compartments and a very convivial saloon. Rewarding sailing is assured, with a deep lead fin keel and a relatively high sail area to displacement ratio. Shorthanded sailing is a breeze, with sail control lines led back to the cockpit, and a reliable autopilot controlled from the binnacle.

The boat has had just one owner from new and has been lovingly maintained throughout. The topsides, cabin top and cockpit have just been polished and ceramic coated (May 2026) and the Sail Dive diaphragm is currently being replaced.

Spook is ready for new adventures and viewing is highly recommended.
