Moody 38 Centre Cockpit, 1992, shallow fin, substantial offshore cruising boat with 2015 Beta 56hp diesel, bowthruster, new diesel heating just fitted, electric anchor windlass, chart plotter, AIS, autopilot, bimini & boom tent, davits, lots of cruising gear too! MECHANICAL

Beta Marine B60 56hp diesel engine installed new in 2015. Shaft drive to bronze fixed propeller. 227 litre mild steel diesel fuel tank.

DOMESTIC

Hot air diesel heating (2026). Sound system with speakers. Her galley has a gas 2 burner hob and grill and oven (2024), refrigerator (2024), twin stainless steel sinks, 364 litre fresh water tank with hot and cold water supply with hot water via engine calorifier or 240v immersion heater. Separate heads compartment with Jabsco marine toilet, wash basin & shower. Holding tank serving the forward heads. New upholstery 2026.



ACCOMMODATION



7 berths in two cabins. Maximum standing headroom 6'3" in saloon. 6' standing headroom in cabins, decreasing in aft cabin. V berth in forecabin. Heads compartment in compartment between the fore cabin and the saloon shower. Settee and dinette berths in saloon. U shaped settee to starboard with another settee to port. Central table with folding leaves. Double island berth and en suite in aft cabin. L shaped galley to port.

REMARKS



"Escapology" was purchased by her present owners through ourselves in 2023. She is a fine example of these popular cruising boats, fitted with many extras such as bowthruster, heating, hot water, electric anchor windlass, plus the upgrades Beta B-60 56hp diesel fitted in 2015! She has been used for coastal sailing on the East Coast, trips to the South Coast plus a "full round UK" trip in 2025! Her owners are now looking for a bigger boat for trips further afield!
