Garcia Exploration 45, BRAZUCA is hull #51 of the highly regarded aluminium bluewater cruising yachts built by Garcia Yachts. Designed for extreme autonomy in all latitudes, this specific "Comfort" version features a highly upgraded setup and stands tall above all other Garcia 45s. She has only ever been splashed for initial sea trials, and since then has remained ashore and comes with full warranty throughout. Construction

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean” (or Cat B – whichever is appropriate)

 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Air draft (excluding antennas) 65' / 19.80m.
• Marine deck on transom, side decks, and cockpit floor.

 

Keel & Rudder:

• Centreboard (keel): welded aluminium integral centreboard - fully retracting into the hull, encapsulated/welded ballast compartments in the hull and skeg (aluminium, not lead or iron).
• Rudders: twin aluminium rudders, protected by short skegs, with JEFA self-aligning bearings.

Machinery

Engine & Gearboxes:

• 1 x Nanni 4.80 performance engine.
• Kubota-based, 4-cylinder, turbocharged, 2.4–2.5L.
• Rated power 57.4 kW / 79 hp at 2700 rpm NPS driven.
• High torque at low rpm due to 2.5L displacement and turbocharger - faster take-off, lower cruising rpm NANNI Australia.
• 4 valves per cylinder, gear-driven valve train, indirect E-TVCS injection, closed cooling with heat exchanger, gear-driven self-priming raw water pump, 12V/120A alternator Nautic Expo.
• Meets EPA Marine Tier 3, RCD 2013/53/EU, BSO2 emissions.
