Cornish Cream is a beautifully maintained Nimbus 370 Commander, combining the renowned build quality of Scandinavian craftsmanship with practical cruising capability and a thoughtfully updated specification. Built in 1998 and powered by twin Yanmar 230hp diesel engines on V-drives, she offers comfortable semi-displacement cruising at around 14 knots, with a maximum speed of approximately 16 to 18 knots.
Designed for extended coastal cruising, the Nimbus 370 delivers generous accommodation, wide side decks, a practical flybridge and an exceptionally sociable interior layout. The raised internal helm provides excellent visibility in all weather, while the flybridge offers an enjoyable open-air helm position and additional entertaining space. Recent investment includes Coppercoat antifouling, replacement propeller shafts, cutlass bearings and stern seals, a new SanMarin electric toilet, new Tru-Design seacocks to the heads system and a new 22-litre hot water calorifier. Together with regular maintenance and careful ownership, Cornish Cream presents as a well-equipped cruising motor yacht that is ready for the season ahead.
Cornish Cream has been carefully maintained and continuously improved by her current owner, with a strong focus on reliability and preventative maintenance rather than cosmetic enhancement alone.
The Nimbus 370 Commander has long been regarded as one of Nimbus’ most successful cruising designs, appreciated for its solid Scandinavian construction, practical accommodation and reassuring sea keeping. With twin shaft-driven Yanmar engines, protected propellers and excellent low-speed manoeuvrability assisted by a Sleipner bow thruster, she is equally at home navigating marinas as she is making comfortable coastal passages.
The current owner has continued to invest in the vessel, completing a number of significant mechanical and systems upgrades during 2025 and 2026.
