Seamaster 29

The Seamaster 29 is considered a high-volume boat designed for comfort and safety. Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to 6 berths in one cabin and the saloon. Up front there is a V-berth with an infill, to create a comfortable double. Opening hatch to foredeck. Stepping aft, heads compartment to port with TMC marine toilet and washbasin with a manual pump cold water supply. Wet locker opposite. Moving aft into the saloon, consisting of a L-shaped dinette seating area with drop down table to port which can convert to a double berth. Spacious single berth to starboard. Galley to port equipped with a Plastimo 2-burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Cool box, stainless steel sink with and ample storage. Opposite to port is the navigation station with electrical distribution panel, navigation equipment and chart stowage. Large quarter berth also to port Pressurised cold-water supply. Red upholstery throughout. Eberspächer heating within saloon. Approximately 100 litre flexible water tank.

Mechanical Systems

Located behind the companionway steps in an insulated engine bay is a Beta 25 (2015) marine diesel engine. 25 HP, three cylinders, naturally aspirated. Fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive via a reduction gearbox to a folding two bladed “Flex-o-fold” propeller. Electric start. Single lever engine controls. Approximately 65 litre fuel supply.

Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop. Deck stepped alloy mast and boom, Stainless steel standing rigging (2013). Terylene running rigging. Two Barlow 25 sheet winches. Two Barlow 20 sheet winches. One Barlow 16 halyard winch.

Construction

Built by Seamaster yachts in 1980 to a Holman and Pye design. White GRP hull with red topside. White GRP coach roof with blue non slip painted deck surface. Cast iron fin keel. Tiller steering to skeg hung rudder. Teak rubbing strake and cockpit seats and sole boards. Seacocks replaced 2024.
