History & Construction:

Built in approx 1980, this Fairways Fisher 38 has a Blue GRP hull and decks with non-slip surfaces. It has a teak floor in the aft cockpit area. Wheel steering. The Hull was professionally stripped back, has been epoxied as a preventative message, primed and antifouled. It has a Walk-through transom gate to the bathing platform. Teak battens to the bathing platform. Self-draining cockpit. Has been out of the water since December 2023; hull polished, and anodes changed. The owner has had the vessel for the past seven years and has decided to retire from motorboating. It has had three previous owners

Mechanical Systems:

This Fairways Fisher 38 has twin Ford Sabre 4-cylinder, 240HP diesel engines with shaft drives to  2-blade fixed props. The engine have direct cooling via a heat exchanger. The engine has completed a total of approx 2000 hours as of 21st July 20264.  The engine was last serviced in May 2026 by Kent Marine Services.  There are two 325-litre fuel tanks. This motorboat will cruise at approximately 13 knots and has a top speed of approx 15 knots.  

Electrical Systems:

4 x 12-volt batteries (2 x engine + 2 x domestic) all new in 2022, charging from the engine alternator and via 240v shore power system with ring main, and Victron Phoenix 50 AMP battery charger.
