The Westerly Fulmar is widely regarded as one of Ed Dubois' finest cruising yacht designs, combining excellent sailing performance with strong sea-keeping qualities and comfortable accommodation. Built in 1985, Tequila is an exceptionally well-maintained example that has benefitted from extensive refurbishment and upgrading over the last five years. Improvements include replacement standing and running rigging, modern Raymarine navigation equipment, renewed upholstery and headlinings, upgraded domestic systems and a Beta Marine diesel engine installation. Equally capable of coastal cruising, club racing and extended offshore passages, Tequila is a well-equipped and highly desirable example of this popular design. A summary of recommendations from a December 2025 survey is available, all of which have subsequently been carried out that were notable.
