Accommodation

The interior of this Beneteau First 211 is bright, practical and well suited to both day sailing and short coastal cruising. 

The open-plan interior provides four berths, with a comfortable double berth in the forward section and two large single quarter berths aft. The forward berth can be separated from the main cabin with a privacy curtain. The boat also benefits from an unused Thetford portable toilet, providing a convenient onboard facility for cruising. Overall, the interior is clean, fresh and thoughtfully updated, retaining the appealing simplicity of the First 211.

In 2024, the complete interior soft furnishings were removed and professionally refitted by Ship Shape Bedding, finished in a contemporary grey fabric that gives the cabin a fresh and modern feel. The upholstery complements the practical interior while adding a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Amidships, the lifting keel casing forms the centre of the cabin, with the compact galley and storage areas arranged either side.  Sink to starboard with manual cold freshwater tap. The layout is simple and practical, with useful storage throughout and enough sitting headroom in the main cabin. 

The companionway provides easy access between the cockpit and cabin, while the cockpit itself is spacious for a yacht of this size and provides excellent space for sailing, entertaining and relaxing. The overall layout is particularly well suited to weekending, family cruising and short coastal passages, while retaining the light, sporty character for which the First 211 is known.
