The legendary Hallberg-Rassy 36 designed by Germán Frers and probably one of the most popular yachts to come from this yard of quality. Replacing the 352, the Hallberg-Rassy 36 the builder claims the yacht to be a long distance cruiser. Centre cockpit windshield and passage under deck to the parge aft owners cabin. Lead keel, deep rudder and extra large sail area this yacht is pleasing to look at. The centre cockpit allow for the aft cabin and engine room with good working access. The slim hull with displacement of 7.5 tonnes with bulb lead keel provides a large righting moment. Masthead rig with double spreaders. Khaya mahogany interior and U shaped galley. Carpet covered timber sole, blue lush upholstery, opening ports and a pleasing and comfortable interior. The torsional strength of the hull comes via the strong outer and inner shells which can withstand quays and small collisions. Here is a stiff yacht with lead keel and low centre of gravity that will perform in a fresh breeze and in a seaway. This Hallberg-Rassy 36 is very well maintained with many upgrades and enhancements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Hallberg-Rassy 36 has a khaya mahogany interior which is bright and traditionally inviting. The U shaped galley is conveniently located and the entrance companionway. The twin stainless sinks are aft facing on the starboard side. The aft cabin contains a wide and normal-wide berth, top cabinets and hanging lockers in the walk through from the main saloon.
The heads are positioned forward maximising space in the main saloon. The mast support is positioned against the bulkhead maximising the interior space.
The varnished teak sole is at the same level throughout the boat ensuring trip hazards are eliminated. The sole is covered by whipped edge carpet sections.
The structure of this yacht is robust with extra strong laminate and a Divincell-insulated hull to prevent condensation. This structure ensures a cool interior in warm temperatures and warm in cool climates. The torsional strength on the hull comes via the strong outer and inner shells which can withstand small collisions and quay hops.
New staunchion gates fitted ex H-R 2025. Teak deck re-caulked 2022 - 10mm throughout.
