Victoria Marine Victoria 26

'Firefly' is a Victoria 26 designed by Chuck Paine and built to a high standard by Victoria Yachts / Northshore in 1988. She had many upgrades at the time including, a windlass, Eberspacher heater, a full suite of electronics, pressure water system, fridge, cooker and an a upgraded fit out. Since then many additional upgrades and maintenance have taken place! She is capable yacht suitable for longer distances as well as local cruising with a long keel and modest draft making her suitable for the East Coast or beyond!

MECHANICAL

Yanmar 1GM10 9hp single cylinder inboard diesel engine (2008). Shaft drive to 3 blade fixed propeller. 10 gallon fuel tank.

ELECTRICAL

Alternator charging to 2 x 85 Amp/hr 12v batteries. 240v shore power. Solar panel.

NAVIGATION

Plastimo Contest 130 compass, Stowe Navsounder depth, Stowe navigator log, Raymarine ST60 wind, Raymarine DSC VHF radio, windvane at masthead, B&G Vulcan 9" chart plotter, GPS & AIS receiver, clock and barometer, radar reflector, navigation lights, steaming light, tricolour light (new) and anchor light.

SAFETY

2 jackstay lifelines, danbuoy, lifebuoy, 2 fire extinguishers, electric bilge pump, manual bilge pump.

DECK GEAR

Stainless steel pushpit, pulpit and guardwires, burgundy sprayhood, burgundy dodgers, stainless steel boarding ladder, tiller, 2 x self tailing sheet winches, 2 x halyard winches, outboard bracket on pushpit, 25lb CQR anchor with 30m of chain and 5m of rode, manual anchor windlass, kedge anchor with chain and warp, mooring warps and 3 fenders.

SAILS

Slab reefing fully battened mainsail (burgundy 2025) with lazyjacks, burgundy mainsail cover. Genoa roller reefing system (Furlex 104s 2023) with furling No 1 genoa (burgundy 2025). Storm jib. Stainless steel standing rigging renewed completely over several years 2020 to 2026. Running rigging also renewed over several years.

DOMESTIC

Eberspacher warm air diesel heating. Her galley has a Nelson gas cooker with 2 burners, oven & grill, refrigerator, pressurised cold water supply to sink from 22 gallon (100 litre approx) tank. Her separate heads compartment has a marine toilet, wash basin & shower.

REMARKS



"Firefly" was purchased by her present owners in December 2019. She's a fine example of these popular Chuck Paine designed yachts, she has standing head room, not often found in a 26ft yacht with good sea keeping qualities, standing rigging steadily replaced throughout ownership, most running rigging replaced, new roller reefing, new sails including genoa and fully battened mainsail with lazy jacks and will be sold with a cradle. She is antifouled and ready to go!
