Description

2003 Beneteau Oceanis 473 Clipper | Three-cabin Owner's Version

BLUELINE (formerly DREAMCATCHER) is the three-cabin Owner's Version of the Beneteau Oceanis 473 Clipper, combining the generous volume of the 473 with a private layout that is particularly well suited to extended cruising and life aboard. She is equipped as a serious independent cruising yacht, with the larger Yanmar 4JH3-HTE 90HP engine, QL bow thruster, MasterVolt Whisper 6000 generator, in-mast furling, two-zone air conditioning, solar charging and substantial 650-litre water capacity.

Recent investment is a major part of her appeal. The standing rigging and spreader tips were replaced in 2025, the Facnor genoa furling system and Garmin navigation suite date from 2024, and the steering system was refurbished in 2025. In 2026 the rudder was dropped and its bearings renewed, the MaxProp folding propeller and rope cutter were serviced, and the domestic electrical system was upgraded with three 140Ah LiThink lithium batteries and DC-to-DC charging. Both air-conditioning systems and the refrigeration have also been serviced in 2026, and a new liferaft added.

Below decks, the Owner's Version layout provides a generous forward cabin, two aft guest cabins, two heads with showers and a large saloon with additional sleeping accommodation. Warm varnished timber joinery, good ventilation, extensive storage and a well-equipped L-shaped galley make BLUELINE equally credible as a comfortable Mediterranean liveaboard or a capable offshore cruising yacht. The seller reports approximately 3,390 engine hours and a comfortable cruising speed of around 7.5 knots at 2,100rpm.

The seller also advises that BLUELINE has generally been dry-sailed for around nine months each year and has never been chartered or raced. Taken together with the recent rig, steering, electronics and electrical work, this gives her a strong proposition for a buyer looking for a spacious private 473 with many of the more expensive systems already addressed. BLUELINE is currently afloat in Licata, Sicily, with local access and viewings handled by WSI's Elia.
