Marketing Description

A unique opportunity to purchase a sought-after Corvette 320 Aft Cabin Trawler Yacht currently located at Barry Yacht club. She has spacious accommodation with the owner’s cabin aft with double berth, en-suite heads and shower. The forward cabin has two generous singles with en-suite heads compartment. Her Twin M300TI Perkins Sabres were refurbished in 2018.

This Corvette 320 has benefited from an extensive programme of refurbishment undertaken by her late owner, a highly respected Chartered Yacht Surveyor with many years of professional experience in yacht restoration, maintenance and surveying. He also carried out the restoration of the classic 50-foot wooden yacht September Moon, a project widely admired for the quality of its workmanship and finish.

The work completed on this vessel has been carried out to an exceptionally high professional standard, with careful attention paid not only to cosmetic improvements but also to structural integrity, reliability and long-term durability. Unlike many owner-led refurbishment projects, the improvements have been approached with the knowledge, workmanship and attention to detail expected of a marine surveying professional.

Sadly, the project was interrupted before completion, and the vessel is now being sold as part of his estate. This presents a unique opportunity to acquire a Corvette 320 that has already benefited from substantial investment in professional-standard restoration work and provides an excellent foundation for completion by her next owner.

Value Opportunity

The asking price reflects the fact that the refurbishment remains incomplete and should not be compared directly with fully restored examples of the Corvette 320. A substantial amount of professional restoration work has already been completed, representing a significant investment of time, expertise and cost by the late owner. For a buyer prepared to complete the remaining works, this vessel presents an opportunity to acquire a highly sought-after model with the potential to realise considerably greater value than is reflected in the current asking price.
