Construction

Xenia, an Almarine 521 built in 1985 by Almar Marine of Antwerp, Belgium, to an American design, combines classic styling with robust construction. Her heavy-duty, hand-laid deep-vee blue GRP planing hull delivers a remarkably stable and confidence-inspiring ride, handling choppy coastal conditions with ease. The hull was antifouled with Hempel antifoul in 2025, while the vessel benefits from varnished woodwork at the rear and centre, enhancing her traditional character and well-presented appearance.
