ABYA Code of Practice
Published: 20 February 2024
In December 2023, we released ABYA’s new Code of Practice which has been developed using a wide panel of experts. The Code of Practice contains important best practice information and guidance for all our Members, particularly around vessel documentation, customer due diligence and money laundering.
This month (February 2024), we have been running a series of mandatory online briefing sessions to ensure all Members are uptodate with the recent changes. For those who were unable to attend one of the briefing session, we have made a recording of the sessions available to purchase.
In addition, to ensure Members have a full understanding of the new Code of Practice, an online assessment test will be sent out to all Members to complete and pass by 31st March 2024.
As the Code of Practice is an essential document for our Members, we were delighted to see a positive uptake and attendance of the briefing sessions.
